The area is mainly home to brown and rainbow trout, but you can also find chinook salmon swimming upstream to spawn in the rivers where they were born.
Why choose Melimoyu Lodge?
The Lodge’s surroundings offer a large number of rivers, lakes and lagoons, where you can fish all season long in any weather conditions.
CATCH AND RELEASE
At Melimoyu Lodge, we have a heliport for the convenience of our guests who want to arrive by helicopter and practice Heli-Fishing. Our guides can take them to hidden fishing areas surrounded by thousand-year-old forests, pristine settings, without fishing pressure in the Chilean Patagonia, to discover uncharted spots while fishing for the wildest trout. An experience very few will be able to tell about.
Melimoyu Lodge does not have its own helicopter, but our staff can offer advice and coordinate with agencies to meet the needs of each guest or group.
